It’s so fun watching my newborns grow.  I can’t help but to get attached.  She was such a ham and SO easy to photograph.   You would not be able to tell by looking at these images she had an upset stomach.  I hope you are feeling better Emme.

Enjoy the sneak peek!!

Meet Finn, a 9 day old full of smiles. He was very good to me and it was a joy to photograph him. I could have photographed him all day. Erica and Brian, thank you for allowing me to capture your new little man. Finn is very lucky to have such a loving family. Congratulations again.

Unexpected Surprise

January 15, 2010

We have been blessed with monoamniotic twins due early spring. My family and I were very surprise and shock to find out we were pregnant with twins. Unfortunately, monoamniotic twins are at great risk for health complications because of the close proximity of the two umbilical cords in the amniotic sac. Mid March I will enter the hospital, so I can be constantly monitored. Our goal is to make it to 32 weeks gestation. I am very positive and I know God gives you what you can handle. Our hands will be full, but better full than empty.

So, what does this mean? As you probably guessed, due to the high risk associated with monoamniotic twins, I will not be taking any portrait bookings at this time. It is still unclear when I will resume sessions. I will update my blog when I do so.

What’s a post without pictures? I love detailed shots and don’t share them enough. Kendall is obsessed with her new “sooze.” The first day she got them she wanted to sleep with her new shoes. In the morning instead of yelling for mommy or daddy we heard her talking to her “sooze.” It was so cute! The other picture is of her wild locks. I love her curls to pieces but boy they can get out of control.
